A Christmas Tea with a purpose will benefit R Star

A Christmas Tea with a Purpose will be held on December 6, from 2:30 – 5 p.m. for R Star Foundation “Women Helping Women & children in Nepal.” It will be held at the lovely home of Rona Gromet, 2250 Park Avenue.

The Tea is presented by Amy Jackson, also of Laguna Beach.

The Christmas Tea with a Purpose is to benefit the needs of rural agricultural villagers devastated by the recent earthquakes and the current embargo.

Wojetar today – the village in Nepal where R Star began in 2003

Come fill your Christmas stockings with gifts to benefit the villagers by purchasing a goat, or symbolic ‘parts’ of a goat; school tuition for a child; salary for a teacher; build a well...and more options while sipping on Nepali tea or wine while enjoying delectable tea nibbles. Great gift ideas for your friends who have everything! With such purchases, you not only get a write off, you are part of the solution for world problems.
