Artists Fund presents Spring Collection at City Hall

Hardship Grant Given

The Artists Fund serves past and present FOA exhibitors by promoting their work, providing professional development webinars, and enrichment grants for exciting career expansion. A major service is the Hardship Grant, funded mostly by Art-To-Go sales, which helps artists suffering economic hardship from exceptional medical needs or unexpected circumstances.

Main Beach by Patrick Kelly, circa 1970s

Recently, a Hardship Grant was awarded for the burial and interment of Patrick Kelly, long-time exhibitor, and former board member of Festival of Arts where he also worked on the Permanent Collection and as membership director.

The following is among the notes received by The Artists Fund: “Thank you for your grant on behalf of Patrick Kelly’s family and myself – his friend of 50 years. It was most generous in this hour of need. He will be missed!” –Sandra Jones Campbell
