Laguna Beach Library has a variety of engaging activities planned to celebrate Earth Day

Inside the library, from 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m., guests can immerse themselves in the enchanting world of poetry as part of the April Poetry Month celebrations and honor Shakespeare’s birthday with captivating readings. This poetry reading session is a collaborative effort between the Friends of the Laguna Beach Library, Laguna Beach Sister Cities/YAAS and The Laguna Playhouse. Light refreshments will be provided.

More than 50 years ago, volunteers who desired to make the library special, formed the Friends of the Laguna Beach Library. Today, the Friends take pride in making the library a better place for all who enter the automatic “new” doors. Supporting the Friends means supplying funds for craft days, magazine subscriptions, major interior improvements, reading programs, college scholarships, unique and interesting speakers and lots more.

Laguna Beach Library is located at 363 Glenneyre St., Laguna Beach. For mor information on the Friends of the Laguna Beach Library, visit www.friendsofthelagunabeachlibrary.org.
