Bluebird Canyon Farm offers dinners prepared from the harvest’s bounty, plucked from the farm itself 

Dinners served in Bluebird Canyon Farm’s garden are prepared using ingredients directly plucked from the land, Laguna’s edible art scape. The rich bounty stems from the hard work of Bluebird Canyon Farm’s staff. 

Every part of the experience is farm-fresh, hand-made, and celebrates the community. The last two dinners in the al fresco series for the year will take place on Oct 12 and 26.

Guests enjoy an unforgettable evening of food and festivities in the garden

A welcome cocktail reception is followed by a farm tour, where attendees get a sense of the miracles at work in the gardens.

Then diners pass through the outdoor kitchen, where Chef Jen Alvarez and her crew prepare the meal. 

Once settled at the candlelit and flower-adorned table, the six courses, from the garden and other local producers, arrive in the hands of professional, local servers.

As local musicians play, Farmer Leo will introduce each course, and he looks forward to talking about what brings each person to the farm. After dinner, there is another craft cocktail with dessert.

Farm fresh ingredients

Based on the freshest and most interesting ingredients available, the menu is determined the week of the event. Chef Jen and Farmer Leo synergize their individual passions to create an unforgettable dining experience. 

The chefs are happy to accommodate special diets, if the diner notifies the Farm about restrictions: vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. 

Diners may BYOB so that they have wine for the meal to share with new friends. Dining is outdoors overlooking the beautiful farm, canyon, and a view of the Pacific.

Guests should wear appropriate footwear for stairs and unpaved ground and dress warm for the cool evening. Gratuity is included. 

As the year winds to a close, Bluebird Canyon Farm reminds residents that this is the final month of Farm Dinners for 2017, with only l two remaining. It’s time to gather and celebrate Laguna’s only farm and its harvest, prepared to perfection.

The next dinner will be on Thurs., Oct 12, from 6 – 9:30 p.m. The last one of the season will be held on Thurs, Oct 26. Prices range from $150-$1,200, depending on numbers attending.
