Mutli-vehicle collision on Saturday results in injuries

On Saturday, Sept 7, at 12:07 p.m., a Chevy Suburban was driving inbound on Broadway Street passing Forest Avenue when it allegedly veered to the left and sideswiped a new Ferrari, which was stopped in the number one eastbound lane.

According to LBPD Spokesperson PIO Sgt Jim Cota, “The Suburban [allegedly] ripped the door panel from the Ferrari and then continued forward and [allegedly] struck and SUV head-on.”

Air bags were deployed on impact.

“The Suburban climbed up onto the hood of the SUV and pushed it back into another SUV behind it,” Sgt Cota said.
