Woman allegedly vandals a truck & kicks owner at Whole Foods

On Tuesday, Nov 19, at 6:05 p.m., LBPD officers responded to the 200 block of Ocean Avenue in reference to an alleged battery and vandalism investigation. 

According to LBPD Spokesperson PIO Sgt Jim Cota, “The suspect was identified as Jessica Bethel. Without instigation, Bethel [allegedly] broke the side view mirror and antenna of a parked truck in the Whole Foods parking lot.” 

The owner confronted Bethel as he phoned for police assistance. 

Sgt Cota said, “Bethel then [allegedly] kicked the owner. The male was desirous of prosecution and Bethel was subsequently arrested for the two misdemeanors.”

Jessica Rae Bethel, 32, was arrested for alleged vandalism and battery.

Bail was set at $1,000.

LBPD K-9 sniffs out 14,000 Fentanyl pills for DEA

On Tuesday, Nov 19, at 2:36 p.m., LBPD Corporal Fillers and K-9 “Ranger” were assisting personnel from the DEA Task Force with a search warrant in Anaheim and Santa Ana.

LBPD K-9 “Ranger” finds a large stash of 14,000 Fentanyl pills

According to Sgt Cota, “During the search, K-9 “Ranger” alerted on a large stash of drugs. The officers and agents seized a total of 14,000 Fentanyl pills.”
