Laguna Beach Little League celebrates “Fiesta Night” at Riddle Field with awards and Chili Cook-Off

On Friday, there was lots of fun, festivities, and tasty chili during “Fiesta Night” at Riddle Field put on by Laguna Beach Little League. Paul Porter reports, “We had a great turnout, and everyone had a great time!”

Chili Cook-Off Winners: (L-R) Megan Drews, Kathie Steris, and Malena Lyles

The big winner of the annual Chili Cook-Off contest was Megan Drews for her “Big Red Chili.” Second place was awarded to Kathie Steris for her “Grand slam Chicken Chili” and third place went to Malena Lyles for her “Nana’s Homerun Veggie Chili.”

Hunter Harrington won the Home Run Derby, and Parker Gapp was awarded the “Stu Saffer For the Love of the Game Award.”

In addition to the Chili Cook-Off, there was a T-ball exhibition game, face painting, balloon twister, and snack bar specials. A fun time was had by all!
