LBHS Football off to a great start, wins big in season opener

Laguna Beach High School Football kicked off the 2018-19 season with a big win Friday night, defeating Hoover High School (Glendale) in the team’s home opener by a score of 42 to 14.

LBHS won the season opener with a gorgeous sunset, to boot

The Breakers were led by junior QB Andrew Johnson, who threw for 197 yards and 4 TDs, and Jack Crawford, also a junior, who made two long catches for 56 yards, including one touchdown. 

Coach John Shanahan also credited the team’s defense for helping lead the team to victory.
