Introducing CULTERRA: A New Fine Art Photography destination by Taylor O’Sullivan

Renowned photographer and filmmaker Taylor O’Sullivan merges her global perspective and rich Californian roots with the launch of CULTERRA, an e-commerce art platform and a new fine art photography pop-up gallery located in the heart of the art-centric community of Laguna Beach (1504 S Coast Hwy). CULTERRA, emerging as the newest of only a handful of photography galleries in Laguna Beach, introduces a vibrant collection of nature-inspired prints – featuring earthy nuances, meditative nature scenes, and enveloping landscapes – that embody Mother Earth’s calm and cultural richness. The 1,400-square-foot gallery, bathed in natural light and surrounded by beloved local shops just steps from the ocean, provides the perfect setting to experience the patient artistry of O’Sullivan’s works.

The debut collection spans moments in time from O’Sullivan’s photography and film archive spanning over 60 countries, capturing the majesty of nature through timeless prints in beautifully and locally handcrafted frames. Grounded in the ethos of connecting with the ‘culture of the earth’, CULTERRA offers an antidote to transient digital art consumption. Each print is designed to inspire daily engagement and reflection, embodying stories of endurance and the profound beauty of the natural world.

“Abstraction”

“My intention with CULTERRA is to deepen people’s connection to nature – both the innate nature within them and the world surrounding them,” said O’Sullivan. “Nature is art, and it’s all around us. It’s our choice to take the time to pause and forage a meaningful connection with it.”

This gallery – both online and its physical manifestation in Laguna – offers a curated selection of O’Sullivan’s photography printed on museum-grade, acid-free paper with the highest-quality archival inks. The frames, crafted from solid woods imported from Italy and finished just a few miles from the gallery, underscore the brand’s commitment to quality and local craftsmanship at every level. The gallery also provides a range of custom options to suit any design style, from hundreds of different woods and finishes to custom sizing and non-reflective art glass. Framed prints are available starting at $700 for an 18×12” size and up to $3,000 for a 54×36”. CULTERRA also offers a limited-edition series of 25 exclusive prints with plans to introduce more limited runs soon.
