Just Gather appoints Arolyn Burns, LMFT, LPCC as CEO
Just Gather’s mission is to promote positive mindsets and mental wellness for youth and families. To ensure their efficacy and sustainability, Just Gather has appointed CEO, Arolyn Burns, LMFT, LPCC, to lead their work. A 15-year L.A. County Children’s Social Worker and Newport Beach business owner of the A Treatment Center, she takes her proven track record in annihilating anxiety into their empowerment play-shops and community education.

Arolyn Burns takes over as Just Gather CEO
Burns is a fourth generation Southern Californian who earned her Master of Arts, Clinical Psychology after her Bachelor of Arts and Communications, from Azusa Pacific University. She has more than three decades of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LPCC, hypnotherapist, speaker, author, teacher and coach working with adults, families, adolescents and children.
“I love everything about this organization and their programs. I am happy to increase Just Gather’s goals for emotional mastery. Beyond social working and teaching, I have been helping students overcome trauma, stress, anxiety, phobias and chronic pain through focused modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EFT and Hypnotherapy. Similarly, Just Gather’s experiential learning includes sensory immersion ensuring presence, play, retention and socio-emotional wellbeing.”

Glen Roske brings a wealth of experience to his new role as S.A.F.E Chief
As the first digital detox nonprofit in the world, with substance prevention at the helm of their work, the organization also welcomes S.A.F.E. Chief, Laguna Beach resident, Glen Roske. He leads a program for community education under the acronym Substance Awareness for Empowerment. Roske brings his experience as a Gulf War Veteran, first responder and 20+ year D.A.R.E. leader to ensure their success. He is already working with youth groups and substance abuse prevention partners. According to Roske: “When I heard the organization present at the Interfaith Council, it resonated so much with my personal mission, I got chills. I knew I must contribute my substance prevention expertise into a leadership role. Together, we created the S.A.F.E. Chief position.”
The organization continues to offer monthly De-Vice to Harmony free self-care events. Monday, Dec. 1 featured Evelina Pentcheva with sound frequency and speaker Kara Ray, founder of Innovative Parenting. It’s Holiday Love One Another Holiday Party is set for Sunday, Dec. 14 at a private residence. It includes Billboard recording artist Laura Angelini singing a few holiday favorites.
