Briana Lyon has a degree in art history and has had her landscape design work featured by “Sunset” magazine, “Houzz,” Vimeo, CBS and the “L.A. Times”

Lyon brings a unique skill set in broad scale, climate -diverse site planning thanks to her decade and a half of experience designing modern sustainable gardens across California while managing holistic orchards on rural acreages in British Columbia.

It all started when Lyon moved to Canada. She was born and raised in a blissful backyard suburb of East L.A., but then in college she ended up completing her degree in the midst of an epic rainforest in one of the most health-conscious environmentally aware cities in the world, Vancouver, Canada. The stark contrast made her believe there had to be a better, stronger healthier alternative way to landscape.

Join the LBGC on Friday, Oct. 9 at 9:30-10 a.m. for social time and refreshments, with the meeting beginning promptly at 10 a.m. Meetings are held at Laguna Presbyterian Church in Tankersley Hall located at 415 Forest Ave., Laguna Beach. Non-members are invited to attend for free on their first visit.
