Laguna Food Pantry receives donation from the California Foundation for Stronger Communities

Laguna Food Pantry announced a generous donation of $30,000 from the California Foundation for Stronger Communities (CFSC). This significant contribution supports Laguna Food Pantry’s vital mission of providing free, fresh and nutritious groceries to those facing food insecurity in the local community.

The CFSC selected Laguna Food Pantry as part of its broader mission to strengthen California communities through economic development and charitable activities. This donation is a testament to the CFSC’s commitment to improving the standard of living across the state.

“Laguna Food Pantry is grateful to the California Foundation for Stronger Communities for their generous support and shared vision of a stronger, more nourished community,” said Anne Belyea, executive director of the Laguna Food Pantry.

Laguna Food Pantry provides free, fresh and nutritious groceries to those facing food insecurity in Laguna Beach and surrounding communities. Operating with the belief that no one should go hungry, the Pantry provides groceries to more than 1,000 families and individuals each week.

Laguna Food Pantry is open Monday through Friday from 8-10:30 a.m. with a drive-through distribution system. Anyone facing food insecurity is welcome to visit once a week to pick up groceries.
