Laguna Presbyterian to hold POP-in with speech and language pathologist

Laguna Monthly “POP-ins” hosted by Laguna Presbyterian Preschool Director Anne Herzog offer parents of preschoolers “informal, informational interactions” on a wide range of relevant topics. They are the perfect opportunity for parents of preschoolers to take part in informational and complimentary conversations about their children, for example: When should a child begin to talk? What sounds are appropriate at various ages? When should a parent be concerned about potential issues with a child’s communication skills?

Speech and Language Pathologist Christian Prietto

Join Speech and Language Pathologist Christian Prietto on Wednesday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m. She is the mother of three boys and has more than a decade of experience working with children 18 months and older. Prietto will share insights and answer questions for parents in attendance as they seek to learn about speech and language, which are cornerstones of school readiness.

The POP-ins (Parents of Preschoolers informal, informational, interactions) are where parents can literally “pop in,” grab a cup of coffee and join the conversation with subject matter experts like Prietto, and take place in Laguna Presbyterian Church’s Forest Room, located at 415 Forest Ave., Laguna Beach (entrance on Forest Avenue). All parents of preschoolers are welcome. POP-ins take place through May and then will resume again in the fall.

For more information, contact Anne Herzog at anneherzog@lagunapreschurch.org, or call 949.494.7555, ext. 120.
