LBPD hosts Annual Road Safety Expo at TOW on May 19 and reminds riders to register their bikes at Garage 529

Join the Laguna Beach Police Department (LBPD) on Sunday, May 19 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for their Annual Road Safety Bike Expo at Top of the World Elementary (TOW). They will be promoting safe and legal operations of bicycles for all ages at this free event.

LBPD wants to remind riders to register their e-bikes, bikes and scooters using Garage 529! This registration helps recover bikes and reduces theft. Find out more information by going to the world’s largest registry by clicking here. Register your bike for free.

Safety demonstrations from a previous Bike Expo

There will be plenty of activities. Bring your bike with you!

BMX riders will perform from 12-1:30 p.m., and the Fire Department will have demonstrations at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

In addition to the BMX riders, attendees can participate in games, face painting, bounce houses and much more. Lunch will be available. Join the raffle for a chance to win a signed Tony Hawk helmet, a bike and more.
